18 firefighters killed in Arizona blaze

Brave people dying in a bad way. RIP
 
All fire fighters who died are reported to have been members of the City of Prescott Fire Department. According to the Prescott webpage, the PFD has approximately 60 members, most being active fire suppression personnel.

What a tragic loss when anyone loses their life to protect others, but to lose 19 members from one community service department, that is beyond a terrible tragedy.
Condolences to the families and friends who lost loved ones in this tragedy.
 
Sad day for Arizona. And, unfortunately, this is just the beginning of our wildfire season.
