About a month ago we were talking about what number is going to be on the havoline Dodge in 2003. Some people (including me) were saying that it would stay as the number 28 while other people on the forum said it will be the 42. Well whoever said it was the number 42 is correct. It also looks like the number 28 will not be on any cars in 2003.

That car is interesting. It might grow on me. There's just too much going on with that paint scheme. What is that yellow line on the sides, are those flames or just some wierd design? Is that silver on the bottom really necessary?

As I said, it could grow on me. Better than Kenny Wallace.

I like it!! The yellow stripe is a lighting bolt type of deal. IMO the silver make the car look better than this years. If it was Blue and not silver it still would look cool.

I think I am used to the #28 because that just doesn't look right.

Hot ride looks a tad bit like Kyle Pettys old 42 mellow yellow car with the colors

Now that I think about it, it does look a lot like the old Mello Yello car. Not that there's anything wrong with that... :D

I think they put the silver on the car so it partially looks like the Coors car he won in this season.

Yea with ought the silver it would look a hell of a lot like Kyles old ride

I really like it. But I liked the Texaco/Havoline red and black paint scheme a lot better.
