I noticed someone started a thread on NCAA 2004 football (videogame). I wanted to change it up a bit and see who everyone is going for this season. Who are your teams and who do you think is going to go all the way?

I personally am going for USC Trojans. And I have a strong feeling that if they get the QB thing down...they can contend for the National Championship. Keeping my fingers crossed. :dual9mm:

Well, you see Butch44, I have this thing about orange and the initials UT. Could be very tricky, cause it could be burnt and then it might not be.

So your pullin for the Vols...if so, I here you all have the best damn tailgate parties in all of college football. Is that true?

ROTFL

Butch, since majestyx is a fellow Texan, I have a feeling she's yelling "Hook'em horns" on Saturday. ;)
Yes, I do, TRL. But, Butch44 is right also. I was a Tennessean first (16 years). Been a Texan longer, tho', when I moved to the great state of Texas 21 years ago. Since they are in separate conferences, I can root for the both of them. :D

I've lived in Wisconsin for my whole life but I just can't stand the Badgers or Packers. I cheer for the Oregon Ducks in college football. I think Michigan will take it all this year.

I'd have to go with Notre Dame this year, theyre an up and coming team and they'll be back to greatness in no time with Tyrone Willingham at the head coach spot. As for NCAA Football 2004, I took control of the Navy Football team in dynasty mode. So far, we've creamed Oklahoma and Ohio State. I'm goin to take them back to the championship too.

Lucky for me im an SU fan... The ACC really screwed us over. I never wanted to go to the ACC though...

This season could be very crucial since all of Collge football is going ot see if Pitt, West Virginia, BC, UConn, and the 'Cuse are worthy of a BCS bid along wiht a few other schools. Coach P is sure gonna stink it up again. As long as our team goal is to finish 3rd in the big east every year, ya wonder why the ACC didnt want us,

The ACC has taught me many things about Former Big east teams and SU:

You can't spell suck without SU
You can't spell scum without UM
and You can't spell if you went to Va Tech...

sorry if Miami or Vatech is your team, just a disgruntled guy who bleeds orange...

I will have to stay with the Vols. Sorta drop some last year but we sill be back this year.

My two favs are Purdue and Tennessee! Looks like several Vol fans on here! :D

Happy you have a good point about ND. They finished up last year strong...the USC v. ND game is going to be awesome.

Michigan is strong this year. definetly will be in the top ten.

I hear Ohio St. is going to be a tough contender this year. I look forward to the fall. By far it is one of the best times of the year. Next to NASCAR, College Football is one of the most exciting sports to watch and be part of.

Obviously you have never Tailgated in Death Valley. Purple and Gold of the LSU Tigers. I am also a FSU and Penn State, because I like Bobby Bowden and Joe Pa, you also have to respect a man that has coached at one school over 50 years and still coaches in a tie. B)

Bowtie, you are right in regards to the tailgating. I see and here about all these great tailgate parties. One goal in my life is to at least experience some of the great ones. So Cal tailgates are fun but nothing compared to those southeast of us.

In regards to respect for a man who has coached so long in a tie...yes I do. Joe is a great coach with tons of heart. However, no disrespect to you...Bobby Bowden is my least favorite coach, I have no respect for that man. I will admit he is a great coach...I just don't agree with his values. IMO

I don't know if my beloved Buckeyes can win back-to-back Championships or not, but I don't think I would count out any team Coach Tressel is a part of. There is a lot of talk about them really opening up their offense this year. I'm not sure Krenzel can handle that, but then I really thought Justin Zwick would take his starting spot before the year was over last year (of course that was early in the year when I thought that). Their defense should be just as good too.

My three favorite teams in college Football are Michigan, Notre Dame, and Navy , 2 are in the top 25 and 1 hasnt had a winning season since breathable air occupied the earth or just simply when Roger Staubach was around the NCAA ranks. I think Notre Dame with a strong passing offense they have in Carlisle Holliday and their strong running attack will be a serious threat to the Championship game.

My three favorite teams are...

1. Ohio State Buckeyes (National Champs, incase you missed it :D )

2. Florida State Seminoles

3. Whoever is playing Michigan this week ;)

Why yes, I am. They deserved that award too. I can't recall a better game for a Championship in my life. Two overtimes and a last second play to win it?! Unbelievable!
