I dont watch the series because I unfortunately dont have SPEED and the only time I see it is when they come to Las Vegas but I also went with Steve Park, that 62 team will be pretty strong especially with the run that Gaughan had last year.

Matt Crafton, hands down.

Steve Park will win this poll, but I really think the champsionship will not be a cake walk for him. There is going to be a lot of competition from veteran drivers who have a lot of experience in the trucks (Bobby Hamilton, Mike Skinner, Jack Sprague, Ted Musgrave, Dennis Setzer, David Starr, etc.) and a lot of good young drivers (Jon Wood, Carl Edwards, Hank Parker Jr, etc.)

I really think the trucks have been the series to watch for a few years and it will be even moreso in 2004.

Toss up between Travis & Carl...so I went with the hometown boy.

I think Carl Edwards is going to take the Championship, not by a landslide it will be a tough fight but in the end Carl will claim it.

I sense someone does not like Steve very much. Looks like you may be wrong. But I agree about the competition, this series has about 20 drivers who could win on any given day if everything goes right.

Your senses aren't functioning very well. Steve is on my short list of drivers that I pull for.

While I'm excited that he's in a quality ride, I don't think anyone will dominate the series. I think it will be an exciting series to watch week in and week out.

Explain this comment than "Steve Park will win this poll".

Since Steve is wuth a great team I am going to say that he will be in the top 5 but I thinks its Ted's year!

uh... the person that gets the most votes from the members of the board will win the poll. And I think that will be Steve Park.

He's a high profile driver with a lot of passionates fans and he'll be a major focus being that he's in a truck that almost won the championship last year.

I think a lot of people will just assume he'll walk in and take it in a cake walk. I don't think that will be the case. While he's a good driver, I think there are a lot of really good drivers in the series in quality equipment.

I'll be rooting for Park as long as he's not battling David Starr (he's my favorite driver regardless of series.)

 I frequent both major Park fan boards, and I have not seen anyone say Steve's going to waltz right in and take the championship. Park fans realize it'll be a tough fight. The way it's looking right now, it looks like you may end up being wrong about Park winning the poll...

like I said before, we all know the #62 team is a winner and champ comtender, I just hope steve still has it and can take that truck and contend for the championship cause if he don't and struggles with that team I'm afraid that will be the end of his career.

The poll on NASCAR.com also proves your logic wrong.

Right now here are the totals for which former Cup driver has the best shot at the title.

Musgrave 40%
Hamilton 20%
Park 19%
Skinner 19%
Houston 1%

Parkfan,

Whatever. I'm not going to engage in an argument with you over this.

Heck I voted for Steve Park in the poll.

TB

Parkfan, I believe you are making a mountain out of a molehill. I read into what TonyB was trying to convey is that there is alot of folks who like Steve Park and would like to see him do well and that his fans will most likely vote for him to win the championship because of it. Now, please let it go. ;)

I think Jack Sprague will clinch it this year, even though I'm not a fan.
