I think that has to do with leap year. They get an extra weekend off this year because of it.Originally posted by allybear@Sep 9 2003, 10:45 AM
Ugh...they ruined my birthday! It's August 22nd, and usually it's sometime around Bristol, but now it's Michigan?!? Well, I guess I won't have to have everyone over to watch the race for my birthday like I did this year (although this year's Michigan race was more entertaining than some in the past).
Oh well....
It amazes me how one extra day can throw a wrench in the entire year.Originally posted by 17_Fan@Sep 9 2003, 12:30 PM

Could try what I did last year...got two season tickets, which means both Busch races & both Cup races. I just got the renewal in the mail. My brother & dad are going to the spring races & my daughter and I are going to the night races.Originally posted by Gollum@Sep 9 2003, 04:39 PM
Hope you know someone with tickets. I called Bristol Ticket office one week after Sharpie 500. They told me there wor not one ticket avalible. That everyone of the ticket holders bought their tickets again for next year.
