IRL should have 20 races. Richmond i usually enjoyed with an exception of this year and i always liked Millwauke Indy races. Also i heard Vegas and Loudon NH have been begging for an Indy race but it appears it wont happen in 2010.

No Michigan or California:mad:. Not that I expected them to be back anyway..

I'm glad Edmonton is still on, I heard they have not been doing to great with that event the past couple of years. I've enjoyed that track on tv, especially CASCAR. Hoping to make it to that one sometime.

1., Why is brazil on the schedule.

2., How are the teams supposed to get from brazil to florida in 2 weeks?

One of IRL's head honchos was just on Versus talking to Lindy. They said they're interested in returning to Milwaukee in 2011. They're not interested in returning to Richmond.

I saw this schedule when I was at Kentucky this weekend. I am absolutely horrified with it. It's terrible. We lose ovals and gain another stinking road course and only 17 races at that.

No Michigan, Richmond, Milwaukee, Phoenix, Vegas. Its terrible!

Oh, and Magnethead...The reason they are going to Brazil is because of the deal that the IRL made back in November of 2008 with Apex-Brasil to become its energy and trade partners with its ethanol products.

There are have been some date changes to the 2010 schedule. The new races and dates are as follows. Kentucky was confirmed for Sept.4th.

Twin Ring Motegi ( Japan) - Sept. 19h
Texas Motor Speedway - June 5th
Kentucky Speedway - Sept. 4th

Well, it now appears that the IndyCar Series will open the 2010 season on a street circuit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, if final documents are approved.

Why not? If 14 people murdered daily in 2008 was not a problem for the Olympics, why should the IRL be concerned?

Remember that police helicopter that was shot down last week? That was totally a movie stunt, and not because of the on-going war between local drug lords and the police.
