So they lost one Rockingham race, both Kentucky races and added Palm Beach and Texas. ARCA made the 2 new additions public a while ago so I guess they must have been negotiating with another track which is why it was so delayed. I was hoping there would be more changes, more new additions. I would have liked to see 1 Kentucky race on there, glad to see Rockingham with only 1 date though.

Your guess would be correct. Officials tell me it was a Georgia track, possibly Gresham?

Probably was Gresham. I've heard South Georgia Motorsports Park is nice too. By the way, what a horrible name for a track. Gresham Motorsports Park(named after the owner), they should have kept calling it Peach State Speedway. They've lost all their name recognition. I've heard they really fixed the place up though, I'd like to check out their East series race.

I can make it to Palm Beach pretty easily. We'll also be able to get Texas covered. I'm gonna look in to Kansas, Rockingham and Daytona.

Well, I can do raceday of ARCA (I sure hope...school will regulate that), and I assume Summer can get to the Kansas race?

I have not seen this posted anywhere. I guess this is their new logo for 2010. I found it on the Palm Beach site.

Yeah I saw it on there as well.

I guess the rumored Menards deal fell through.

Well, Menards is not a national chain, although located in "ARCA country". I'm sure their big enough to be a title sponsor though.

Hey, how the hell did ARCA lose Kentucky? I don't really consider that a positive development.

Now anyone know what's up with Mansfield in 2010? Their website hasn't been updated since last summer. Ain't no mention of having no ARCA race in 2010, and there is certainly no way to buy tickets. When did the ARCA schedule come out, over a month ago?

I certainly hope we don't have another Cayuga situation on our hands, and the race never happens. I was planning on going to it.

I doubt there are any problems, it's not even 2010 yet. Anyway, the promoter of the event(Joe Mattioli) doesn't own the track, so he probably doesn't have control over the site.

Well, maybe I'm just paranoid after what happened to me at Cayuga last year. I'll just keep waiting, I'm sure it will be fine if a Mattoli is in charge.

Yeah, anything is possible as we've seen with Mansfield, Milwaukee, and Cayuga, but i think this race is safe. I doubt Mattioli will let us down! I hope it works out for you to go, i'm not going in 2010 but it's a great facility. I'm glad ARCA is keeping that place going. Hate to see nice tracks shut down.

For the last 3 or 4 days, Mansfield Motorsports park has had an Apache Web Server test page up. I assume the website is undergoing a total makeover. Well, the race better happen, I already have reservations!
