Well, the Indycar Series will have a new strategy for their engines starting in 2012. They will allow multiple manufacturers to produce engines with either 4 or 6 cylinders with a maximum displacement of 2.4 cubic liters. These engines will produce between 550-700 horsepower and will be turbocharged.
 
a turbo V4/V6... this will be fun'

dad says they're ruiningthe sport...he likes the stockblock engines better, it just makes more sense.
