So how will the two series look in 2012? We all know that Danica will be full time but what about Steven Wallace? Will Kyle drive all the races in his team or will his Nationwide team even happen? Trevor Bayne and Ricky Steinhouse don't have anything full time yet as far as I know so they are question marks as well.

The truck series could be in trouble next year. Fewer races and likely less competitive teams makes me think the future could be very dark for the truck guys.

The Camping World Series is my favorite of the 3 touring series. I am hoping it can withstand the sponsorship contractions.

N'wide is fun too and it brings about an opportunity for drivers, owners and crew mwmbwers to make a living - either on their way up or their way down - and in some cases makes for an entire career. Again, I hope it survives.

The fact is that no matter which series you are referring to, the cost to build a new race vehicle - be it Cup, N'wide or Truck - has to be quite comparable. That's a lot of coin for a small return in the "lower classes".

I hate to say it but if the economy continues as it has over the past few years I see NASCAR contracting into TWO SERIES most likely Cup and Nationwide. Get your truck fix in now I don't see it lasting.
Has anyone else noticed that lately even NASCAR has been refering to the Camping World Truck Series as just the Truck series? Any idea when Camping Worlds series sponsorship contract runs out?

I wouldn't care if they cut trucks...Mabey then, we could have full fields of sponsors in cup and NW

They arent gonna cut Nationwide or Trucks. K&N East and West and ARCA will keep going too. Its tough times but i'm sure they'll manage to survive.

ARCA survived it's biggest problems. A lot of people thought that, since all the contracts expired at the end of 2011, there'd be a mass exodus. Most, if not all, those sponsors have signed on for six more years.
