Anyone interested in having their screen name inscribed on the trophy that is adorned by the inaugural winner Smoke14 and last years victor Greg?

Just gauging interest for the upcoming 2013 Chase season. For those of you that have played, you know what it's all about. For those of you that haven't played or are new to the board it's a game that only runs the duration of the Chase races. Last year we had 37 players start the Chase and 21 left at the end. The year before we had 13 players. Some of you newbies to the board didn't get a chance to get in on the year-long games. This is a chance for everyone to participate for the final 10. Let me know if your interested and I'll get some spreadsheets started. There are only five races left between now and the Chase.

How it works.....

You'll pick two Chase drivers each week.

Pick the Chase driver that you think will finish the best for the given week.

Pick the Chase driver that you think will finish the worst for the given week.

The highest score at the end of the Chase is the winner.

Scoring is based on NASCAR's point system.

Your pick for the best driver will simply receive the points awarded by NASCAR.

Your pick for the worst driver will receive the difference in points between the winner of the race and your picks actual race points.

I can't do it . My brain is taxed to the max now . Contending for a top five in the yahoo and spikes games has me tired all day.Really looking forward to the off season and cutting back on competition next year.

I understand how tough it can be to devote the 30 seconds a week over the final 10 weeks can be. Besides, probably with your sponsor obligations and all. :rolleyes:

You had this same burden , years ago , in your younger days , did you not ?Like Bobby Labonte , you may have lost a step but you still look good .( smile)
 
As the defending 2012 RACING FORUMS CHASE CHAMPION, I want to encorage all the liitle dreamers not to give up, and this should be a chance at redemption for some.

As the defending 2012 RACING FORUMS CHASE CHAMPION, I had a lot of groupies applying for various postions during the off season. I have to say as an honest true, altruistic freind to all here that many mothers during the groupie qualifications process told me that they "were ashamed at how badly I whipped her boys last year" in their futile bids to out wit me, the defending 2012 RACING FORUMS CHASE CHAMPION.

So you do your best, you dont want to disappoint her once more.
 
Just a quick heads up. I'll be opening up the game next Sunday after the Chase field gets set Saturday night. Picks will be able to be made at any point leading up to the first Chase race @ Chicago. I'll post more details in the first Chase for the Cup thread next week. If you have any questions about the game PM me or post them here.
