That's what I was thinking..... would be awesome though if all four makes were actually very different in 2013 in their final body configurations.
Well if Nascar would let them tinker more they could recover the disadvantages in other ways. It will never happen it will be more of the same, but hopefully the bumpers won't match up so at least we won't get Trains at the plate tracks.One or two makes would have a significant advantage in the downforce catagory. It would make the races look lopsided compared to the previous seasons of the COT I thinks.

Look back at the 80s, the cars were different, but those body designs were set at the begining of the season. They were able to tinker more with the suspenion packages than today. I just think that each make should be different, the teams should be able to adjust more on shocks-suspension area and on spoiler angle to a point. Of course one make will always complain about the other having an advantage, but I think that is fun of, it brings creativity and inovation back in.
