Very freakin cool!
I wonder what I could get my 2003 Honda Civic with 240,000+ miles on it up to on that new highway? I'd bet at least 185 err 85 mph anyway.
You can do it, we can help. Now give us your credit card and get to work...
The guys that helped set up my '72 truck motor did some head work for some kids with Dodge Neons. The kids put bottles on their cars. They didn't care how long the lower end lasted, they made their money in just a few races. I ran my '63 (damn near stock 390) F100 against one for a joke and the kid pulled me halfway into 2nd gear.I've seen a couple of 500 HP Hondas with twin bottles. Friggin' nuts if you ask me.
3 weeks ago, when I posted the thread on the Ultima GTR car, I was leaving the car meet in my '72 short bed. Everybody knows not to speed away from the car show because The Promenade Mall (where it is held) would frown and not let us meet there anymore. Well, as I headed south away from the show, a guy in a beautiful, paper-plated, white '14 Vette cruised past me. Just about then, a kid in a turbo WRX zipped up along side the Vette and off they went. I saw the dark exhaust come out as they sped off, so I knew someone got on it. Just as they passed Oxnard St., an LAPD Dodge Charger spun out of a small side parking lot, after them. The Vette and the WRX were (I suspect) already near 100mph as they went past the hiding patrol car. The radio car caught up to them at a red light about 1/2 mile away. the black & white pulled halfway into the intersection, cross-ways in front of the Vette (that was ahead of the WRX) and the officer exited his vehicle, hand on his gun and motioned the two cars to pull to the side of the road. I had an ear-to-ear grin as I drove past (at the speed limit.)

That's a lot of HP. I'm not a fan of the 2014 body style. IMO, they're pretty ugly in person. I'd love to drive one, though.http://www.chron.com/cars/article/Hennessey-now-selling-a-707-hp-street-legal-5231990.php?cmpid=hpfc
