Being reported that Erik Jones will be in the car for Kyle Busch @ Atlanta.

I think that is great. The kid has shown he is a smart racer. The future of Nascar looks good with the drivers coming up.
Now Tony needs to find some young guy to replace him or maybe HMS already has.

I hope the new rule package brings good racing.

Having a double header on Saturday will be awesome, I remember Kyle Busch won both the XFINITY Race and the Truck Race in Fontana on the same day some years ago, 2009 i think?

If Jones does too well (imagine if he wins) then JGR might risk losing him to SHR or another team. JGR has 4 Cup drivers and nowhere to slot Jones permanently. If Busch doesn't come back or if Tony decides to hang it up, Jones would have an opening.

How many races till Edwards can breathe? The usual 6 races it takes for this year's points to take effect?
Only three races now, so just the next two weeks.

I am a little surprised that they didn't give him the #20's owner points since Kenseth is the only one in the bunch with a past champion's provisional.

I read if qualifying is rained out Edwards makes the race because he won a race last year, has that always been a rule?

Gibbs wanted to make sure he would race instead of drive around holding the wheel like he was doing at Roush?

The joke that was once the 2015 NASCAR's Testing Ban. They are probably going to be testing more than they ever have this season. Thursday is the first of those test dates @ Atlanta. No television coverage though.

It's nascar. They say there's no testing allowed but if you test it's not a test if they say it's not a test...
Pay attention, they sometimes spring a quiz on us. I hate when that happens.....

anyone know if the test thurs will be made public? Its already been mentioned no media will be there....
