Time again for the start of the IndyCar Series. Will be intersting to see if Josef can win back to back championships and how the new body-work is. Go Penske !!

Go Kanaan I guess.

I've always liked him. Castroneves was my main guy but Tony was always right there as my second favorite.

Perhaps he can win one for Helio this year.

I must have missed it but Marco Andretti is racing under the Andretti Autosport with Bryan Herta banner, did he leave the family team in a trade off for Rossi?

Bryan Herta Autosport doesn't really exist anymore. It's still an Andretti car, Herta is just the guy calling the shots over Marco's car (and Curb and Agajanian are putting some money into it as well). Herta was over Marco's car last year too, it's just this year they switched the car numbers.

Indycar's on the up this year. Increase from 21 full-time cars to 22 (in an offseason where Penske went down 1 car and Ganassi went down 2), and there's two cars that will be there for about half the races at the moment, which may go up. Also, 7 rookies out of 24 on the St. Pete entry list. Throw in the expectation of rain Sunday and may see the yellow a bit.

About the only down thing is Conor Daly, who made himself the star of the just concluded Amazing Race, is without a ride.

It made more sense for Bryan to call the shots for the car he has a financial stake in. Still very much an Andretti-prepped and -crewed car.

I should be there this year on Sunday, so I cannot wait. Its been too long since I've been at St. Pete.
Looks like it could be a really wet day right now.

Where the **** is the TV coverage for quali???

It might be a replay of it on NBCSN and their YT channel will post the entire day's events.

Got my tickets and my paddock pass, man I'm itching for it to be tomorrow already...

Dang you are lucky !!!! I will have the Indycar website up all day on the big screen. I think the
first activity starts around 10 a.m. and runs through the day. A little bit sad Indylites are back down
to 8 or 9. Pro Mazda and FS2000 looks healthy though. I need to go look and see if stadium
trucks are at the show or not.

Ya ABC races never get quali televised so they're streaming the whole day on YouTube/Twitter/whatever else.

No SST since they were in Adelaide last weekend and couldn't make the quick turnaround. World Challenge has both GT and GTS though and they're streaming all four races: http://world-challenge.com/streamvideo/

I don't think I've ever seen the US F2000 grid so big. Like 25 cars and the reigning US, Mexican, and British F4 champions are all in.

Really good points especially the USF 2000 champs. . Firing up the World Challenge site now.

No live streams at the PWC site till the races this afternoon at 3:50 p.m.

Watched Indycar practice, Mazda Road to Indy, indy Lights, and Indycar qualifying all live on the Indycar Facebook page today.

Three rookies in the first two rows. Lots of big names having to come from the midfield and beyond tomorrow.

Rahal has struggled so far, but once he gets a grip of the lower downforce package, he will be fine.

I'm sitting up the block right now waiting for the gates to open with my son sitting next to me snoring away.

Friday we got autographs. Yesterday slurped on margarita slushies. Ymmmmmmm.

:)

Weather here says a shower or two hanging around this morning but hopefully it should be OK by race time.

:)

I'm still at the Trackside Club about two tents from the Chevrolet tent.

I'll head that way. Yellow t shirt Long blue jeans and a black and red baseball cap

Can Wickens take it back?

Chaves is going to be a fan favorite this year, a lot of people with Harding gear on.

Wickens has an upper hand considering he said the DTM cars had a similar downforce level to the new body kits. Wickens is not your typical rookie.
