I've seen these posted before. I always find stats interesting. For others that like the numbers as well.

I’m a sucker for these kinds of things, I love looking at driver stats and seeing how they compare to each other. Looking at the numbers, it’s so glaring how after 3 races Hendrick(s) is struggling, no driver in the top 10!

I'm big on numbers as well, but I'm bigger on context. Without that you can't apply these numbers in a fair manner and it really takes watching these races to do that.

Yes HMS is struggling, but there's no denying that the 9 has been a top 10 car in the 3 races this year. Was battling for the lead at Daytona when he wrecked (was up there all day), top 10 at Atlanta, and was running top 8-9 all day yesterday before getting taken out. They aren't as far off as people would like to think.

Chase has been leading the way for HMS, but would it be wrong to say he’s been the only bright spot for the team right now? The HMS cars have gotten off to a bit of a slow start, I don’t think that’s an unreasonable observation
