No fans on the stands so no ticket money

Networks won't pay nascar to broadcast a race at 7 AM because no one would watch it. Without TV money they wouldn't be able to cover the purse.

Networks won't show the race on tape delay, no one will watch it because they already know who wins.

I was being facetious because I know if/when it rains today in Kentucky people will come on here and be angry about NASCAR start times.

But would it not bring in enough money to make it worth it? If New Hampshire had lights and a night race, I might actually be interested in going to a race there.

With the comp cautions and stage breaks, I've stopped worrying about starting position for fantasy purposes at most tracks.
