Incredible to think that with an attendance in the 300-325k range 1 in roughly every 1,100 Americans is at this race today. Even in small town America there's at least one family from every town in Indy today

Love the Indy 500.... but to think Daytona out-did the Indy 500 for 15ish years for TV ratings... Never saying the D500 could out-do the Indy 500...but NASCAR could've been so much bigger if hey played their cards better.
