2022 Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Get Stroll tf outta F1.
Lawrence basically telling Perez to kick rocks was the best thing to happen to him. Such a sad little group now, and Lawrence needs to make a difficult familial decision for the sake of the team.

Lol engineers probably should've trimmed the drivers talent level up a bit

Getting those 1995 vibes from Ferrari.

Car is insanely fast, but the car is fragile and the drivers at times can be error prone.

I'm all for Zhou supremacy today! Take that back, Zhou has to retire the car with a technical issue.

Good points hauls for Red Bull and Merc.

Russell with another podium and Lewis with another stand-out performance to recover, but Russell's podiums are no luck. Qualifying ahead will make those opportunities.

Great finish for Vettel. Scored more points today than Aston had all season. Probably P5 without going off.

The second half could’ve used Ferrari contending for the win. Kinda meh after they dropped out. They have a lot of grid penalties coming unfortunately.

Russell has the quietest races of anyone.

Russell is pretty Button-esque.

Feel for Lewis though, just unfavorable strategies. However, that can be resolved with out-qualifying Russell.

Two of those championships were last gasp clutch performances. In his day Vettel was pretty special.

Vettel just didn't have enough for Hamilton once Mercedes got rolling, but then again, neither did anyone else. The reason not everyone has undying respect for the guy is because he's made it look too easy. Everyone hates domination and we've has eight straight years of Mercedes blowouts. I was glad to see Merc get a slow start just so we would see something different, but I still respect the guy and everything he has done. You guys here are pretty cool, but you ought to see the hate Lewis gets on YouTube and other places, which is totally unwarranted. All this online hatred and stupidity must make being a public figure unbearable.

People make a big deal out of George being ahead right now, but there's more to it than just driver vrs driver. I read somewhere that Hamilton is doing most of the testing work, which would most likely compromise the race weekend. Lewis isn't interested in finishing fifth every week, so he just lets George go and concentrates on improving the car. Once the Merc is competitive Lewis will be right with George if not even better.

That, and it's got to be hard to be enthusiastic and throw everything at a car that hammers the crap out of all weekend with no hope of even an outside chance. After seven championships, plus two that slipped away, it would be hard to get up on race morning and psyche yourself up.

The FIA is going to have to do something and address this instead of wasting energy the wanker piercing issue. Right now Hamilton is hurting more from the bouncing that the piercing ever could. We have a legitimate safety issue here. Just read what Hamilton said in the article. If this keeps up, someone is going to suffer chiropractic injuries.

As far as Mercedes' porpoising problem, I'm going to be the first to say their floor is too efficient and that's what is sucking the car into the deck. They could easily test this by blocking off some of the air tunnel entrances. If you make too much downforce, it's going to eventually overcome the springs and let the car bottom. That shuts off the airflow under the car and stalls it, and then the car jumps back up, and over and over. I would imagine they were trying to create as much downforce as possible, and no one saw this coming.

Everyone in Formla One is too old to remember the bouncing cars of 1982, except Newey, that is. Guess who made the best car?

I started to like the Ferrari team again these last few years and those two drivers deserve a reliable car to match their talent. I'm a Verstappen fan but also enjoy a good fight for the championship.
