Hate that I'll be on the road for at least the end or second half of the race. I have to drive down to Atlanta for a continuing education course next week. Boooooooo

Will they cut the dogleg? I just don't see it.....
Probably would rattle your teeth with those aluminum blocks on the bottom. I will say, Phoenix is one place where the old car was absolutely perfect. It's a great and unique place

I heard someone say that they might not do it early because the risk of damaging the diffuser, late race though I could still see it.

It will be interesting if one of these continues the streak. Of course they have all backed into these wins, and one is both a hack and a back in driver.

The youngsters have been doing pretty good. But where is Chase? :)

He doesn't back into wins?
It's a good thing he didn't win a rain shortened race or he would have been placed in the Danica category. She was grilled over flames for her Indy car win. I think Bubba even caught some shade for his win if I remember right. :)

He's in a different category. Elliott has infuriated some of his fans though. Only can win on road courses the prickly say.

Anyone with any common sense knows that isn't true. He is a threat to win any race and is always a threat to win a championship. ;)

I like the fact the Elliott is a definate threat to win on a road course and if he doesn't win, he's easily in the top 5. A win is a win IMO.

I'm hoping the Hack can back into at least 5 more wins this year starting with Phoenix this weekend and ending with Phoenix latter in the year. Any more wins than that would just be icing on the cake with a double scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

James Small says they can cut it. Adam Stevens agrees. We shall see. Should be interesting.

Will be interesting as to what line the new gen car will have to run this weekend.

In the recent past, the quickest line is cutting down to the apron and then back on the track. The lack of ground clearance might be an issue when trying to make the transition.

From what I heard it not actually a lack of ground clearance, but bump stops in the shocks that are making these cars bottom out. If that's the case they may be able to make the transition
