McLaren clearly has the best car at the moment and no surprise to see Lando getting P1 but Max did great to secure P2.

Didn’t like the Hamilton call at all. Brutal starting that far back, Zandvoort is hardly an easy place to pass.
There’s just way more potential in that McLaren right now than there is in the Red Bull. Norris got everything out of his ride, Max did well to at least beat Piastri.

Not that theres really anything to lose, but they pretty much just forfeited one and possibly two positions.
Dont think Piastri has the tires to attack Leclerc anymore. That was a great defense by Chuck.

Flawless job by Lando except for the first 100 meters.
70 points in the championship is a big gap but considering how dominant Lando was and that there are nine races left, this is far from over.

At this rate McLaren might be first in the WCC by the time the series arrives for the Americas swing. No question they’re gonna win at least that championship.
Verstappen is just gonna have to maximize points each week and maybe hope there are weekends here and there where Mercedes or Ferrari are good enough to take points off of Norris again. Not too dissimilar from Jenson Button’s form with Brawn in the second half of the 2009 season while trying to hold off a young Sebastian Vettel.

Lando is still a long shot for the title, but at least it's getting more interesting. The midfield battle today was insane.
