2025 Dutch Grand Prix

I'm also quite disappointed with Stroll. He's run well lately and overcome a serious injury, but he's also wadded up a few cars. Now he's starting 20th. I keep hoping he can turn it around, but he's taking the fun out of it.

When exactly? Last time he beat Alonso in qualifying was July last year and most of his points finishes came in difficult weather when others crashed in front of him.
Well, right now. He's come from 20th to 9th. I mean, it could still fall apart, but for now I'de say that's a pretty decent run.

This race wasn't short of drama. I feel like this would be the best track on the schedule if they were racing 60% scale cars.

Super happy for Hadjar. Incredible performance by him.
I like it too, but are those armco barriers serving as walls. I thought that was no longer allowed for safety reasons.

Hopefully the final race here next year has some more passing with the smaller, lighter cars. There were some wild twists and turns today but it’s a very difficult place to follow and pass at with modern F1 machinery.

Hopefully the promoter is able to bring in another major event after 2026. I did read the director said he’d like to be able to snag IndyCar or NASCAR.

Could work for a European crowd if they are provided with airplane sickness or emesis bags to tolerate Green White Checkers/ 10 plus cautions/ lucky dogs.

Hadjar is going to be a star.
Idk man, its the inconsistency of Red Bull drivers in the top seat beside Verstappen where things are muddled. The VCARB car is known to be easier to drive and it much less temperamental.

I honestly hope Isack gets out of that Red Bull farm.

Indycar could put on a hell of a show there. However, since they claim to be the fastest racing on the planet, they might want to avoid a direct comparison.

Google: The fastest race lap in an IndyCar at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) was set by Colton Herta with a time of 1:48.90 during the 2019 IndyCar Classic.
Google: The IndyCar lap record at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) is 1:45.4542, set by Felix Rosenqvist during the 2019 qualifying session.

I meant to post this last time but didn't catch my mistake until it was too late to edit,

Inconsistent? More like bad. It's like the old saying that the #1 Lotus is the best car in F1 and the #2 is the worst. That's where Red Bull is today.

Caddy still thinks enough of Checo to hire him, so that's some insight into how bad the second Red Bull is.

No doubt in my mind that after today Issac will definitely be in the #2 Red Bull next year.
