Since Porsche is staying with IMSA , I am supporting
Penske Porsche's for this 10 hour rodeo. Just got
off the phone with the son in Nashville and I asked
him what his earliest memories of Petit and he said
"The Audi / Peugeot late nite battles".

Mediocre start. I'm glad this isn't a 2:40 race.
I haven't seen any BlueChew ads. Sports car fans must not need it.

This has to be a first at Road Atlanta:
Overall this appears to be a positive indicator for the health of the series, but I hate it for those fans out there today. IMSA fans might have to start planning their days like NASCAR fans had to do in the late 90s.

Oh goodness yes.
I thought it was bad last year, but the grid walk felt F1 esque. Fans are out here in droves and the campsite has been filled to the brim.
Much classier series.
Is anyone else seeing video buffering issues?

Race has settled down nicely since all of the early GTD and LMP2 chaos. I’m expecting things to ramp back up as the sun begins setting and the shadows start to creep across the track.
Must be my local ISP. It's now buffering both aud and vid so much that I've decided that's enough for the day and I'll catch the remaining 4:30 or so next week.
This last race of the season, combined with today's relatively cool temps and constant rain, have brought autumn to me full force today.
