What categories and nominees should we have.

For starters, I'm looking at:

Johali's Best Race of the Year

Bonehead of the Year (Austin Hill)

Big Brain of the Year

Greatest Moment

Best Driver

Best Rookie

The Driver to Watch

Most Improved Driver

And what else can we add?

We'll get to nominees shortly after.

Johali's Best Race of the Year: The 2nd Kansas race

Bonehead of the Year: Overall I would say it is absolutely on Nascar for not ditching the playoffs already. It should have already happened like within an hour of the final checkered flag. They should have lept at the opportunity to immediately dirch the idiocy. My opinion will not change on that one.

The 2nd one bonehead should go for the GWCrs. The reaces should be run to the set distance.

For on the track boneheads, I would go with Carson Hocevar. I actually like him and I am rooting for him to improve, he has the talent and speed.
It isnt about one big mistake but more about a repetitious pattern. He needs to work at running some complete (clean) races. If he can figure that part out while he is still young he will do some great things and win a lot of races. I hope it happens for him.
Austin Hill gets dishonorable mention as a second chioce.

Big Brain of the Year:

Greatest Moment: I think the last few laps at Kansas stand out to me. Hamlin was fast and I loved his passion. But he still got loose and ultimately knocked Wallace out of a shot to win.
It was loaded with imperfections but I dont think he went into that corner with the mindset of wrecking Wallace.
It was taking it to the limit leave nothing on the table kind of passion I respect.

Best Driver: It's either Blaney or Hamlin imo. I think Hamlin had the speed to win the most, but Blaney is fast with less errors imo.

Best Rookie: SGV to many Ws to debate that one.

The Driver to Watch: Hocevar for making a constant mess and Hamlin with the speed to win the most races.

Most Improved Driver: Ryan Preece. But maybe Preece and Brisco was always that good and just needed to be in a better place as demonstrated by this years results.

And what else can we add: Nascar needs more scantily clad trophy queens and grid girls.

Hey free tickets and transport every week I'll volunteer to put a bikini on my man boobies and go dance for them. ;) ;)
