2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics

That NBC montage even drug me back to hell with Amber's breakdown and it's still quintessential sports coverage.

I had some things to say but, all in all, the Olympics BELONG on NBC and Peacock where they've been all my life.

Anyone remember the good ole days with Bob Costas.

She is an awesome young lady and I won’t be surprised to see some more young ladies here in California copying her hair style. I sure hope she competes in the next Olympics.

I'm going through Olympic Withdrawals so bad I might watch the Paralympics for the first time.

Sid..... out at least four weeks for the Pittsburgh Penguins due to his injury in the Olympic games. Not good timing heading into the stretch run of the season.

There's hockey in 4K and Dolby Atmos on my Big Beautiful TV tonight. For added measure, there was also curling on my 43" TV. And nice, cute, pretty Amber Glenn 🥰 will grace my TV screen again in exactly one month in the ISU World Championships on Peacock (televised on NBC and USA too).

Men’s speed skating mass start was bizarrely entertaining. Reminded me of some of those NASCAR group qualifying sessions at drafting tracks where nobody wants to go and one or two who decide to push win.
Watching that I had to imagine Rick Allen calling the race...
"Jorrit Bergsma is gonna be aggressive! He has dropped the Danish guy and is leading by himself. The bell is ringing ONE MORE TIME AROUND! 40-year-old Jorrit Bergsma from Aldeboarn, Friesland which by the way has a population of 1,545, is a two-time Olympic Champion!!!"

The Danish dude hung on silver btw. It was only Denmark's second ever medal at the Winter Olympics and the first since 1998.

The winter sports season will continue for another four weeks.
This weekend we got cross-country skiing in Falun, Sweden, downhill skiing in Andorra and Garmisch and ski flying (240+ meters) in Austria.

Unfortunately I'll have to look for a new favorite biathlete.

Ultimate class act. I’ll be cheering for Sid
