Bill Davis Racing crew chief Phillipe Lopez has two new cars ready for the second week of Daytona testing, which starts Jan. 13, and two additional cars for the Las Vegas test on Jan. 26. The only piece missing from the No. 23 car puzzle is a driver; sources say BDR has a sponsor lined up. Former Davis pilot Dave Blaney is on the short list, as is Johnny Benson. If a driver isn't enlisted this week, expect Kenny Wallace to test the car.
 
I am not to fond of BDR. But would rather see JB in the 23 than sitting on the side lines. :cheers:
 
What Happen to Kenny Wallace? I haven't heard much about his ride with the 23? I guess maybe Kenny is going to run Busch again or what?

Kenny is going back to Busch for BDR along with Stacker2

From what I understand Blaney and BDR did not part on good terms so I hope that means JB has a better shot at the ride.

It woun't be the same without JB in the NExtel Cup.!!!

Yes, I agree about JB. But I am also gonna miss the heck out of Kenny Schrader!!!!!
I really do like that man!!!!! And he really do love to race!!!!
 
Dave Blaney is a great driver too >> Put him in a good car and he will win!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My hats off to Anyone that can drive a World of Outlaws Sprint Car >> like 1400 pounds with 800HP........ you talk about insane power??? LOL
 
I too think Dave Blaney is way under estimated as a driver. I BDR had been a better organization, Dave would've won several races his last year there. I agree his only need is a "Good" team and he will win.

I just think JB has a personality that might fair better at BDR. I don't consider BDR as a top team by no means though. I think Ward gave them more success than the organization is capable of on their own. JMHO

Kenny Scharder is still driving the #49 BAM car.
If you ment Kenny Wallace, he is going to Busch with Davis and Stacker2
