#24 Team Making "Big Announcement" Tomorrow

@jeffgordonweb is correct. I really hate to spoil his announcement and all but there is a strong possibility that Jeff will announce his retirement tomorrow to pursue is lifelong dream of becoming a professional water skier. Skip to the :50 sec mark of the following video.....

In all seriousness though maybe he is actually retiring?

Dupont never left, they have just scaled back.

I don't think it's a retirement deal because he has mentioned numerous times that he wants to race while he's competitive and still enjoying it (which he clearly is despite a rough start to the year). He's also mentioned that he wants to keep going long enough for both of his kids to be able to watch him race and be old enough to comprehend and remember him as a race car driver.

Perhaps they've picked up another sponsor of some sort. Maybe Chinese solar panels.

Chinese solar panels............. Good one!

They still haven't replaced Regis with a full-time host have they? I'm just sayin...

Noticably absent was Joonyer. I suppose that there was never any doubt or option for him, eh?
I mean, could you see him selling cars at Earnhardt Chevrolet???

ummm
No joke
Hendrick Motorsports is close to finalizing a nine-race primary sponsorship with Trina Solar, a Chinese solar panel manufacturer, for its No. 5 NASCAR Sprint Cup entry.
The deal will see Trina appear alongside Farmers Insurance on Kasey Kahne’s car at nine races this season.

I appreciate that, Bucky. I was not aware of that.

I suppose that it's a good thing that at least some of the money that we are shipping to China is being returned to us in some form!

Even funnier is thinking of KK as a logger.:lol2::lol2:

He is from the pacific north west. So that makes sense.

Plus, it's a dangerous job. More so than driving the COT. Kasey should just stick to driving the car.

 you are not allowed to start early Gordon
