Just to mention, a month or so ago I managed to knock over my computer monitor and mess it up. I tried to fix it myself by varying the settings...then thought about taking it in to a shop for a professional to work on it. Then I figured what the heck...probably cost me $75 minimum and I'd still have the same 17 inch monitor. So I went to Sam's Club and they had a 27 inch Samsung "on sale" for $229.00.
Wow...I love it. I set the thing to "large text" and now I don't have to tilt my head up and down to find the right spot on my tri-focals all the time

I realize this isn't any ground breaking technological discovery - but normally I'm cheap by nature and would have squinted at the old screen for a couple more years. This was one buy that was definitely worth it!
Just thought I would mention it.
Next up...I may get a cellular telephone !
