Had to be gone all day so I set the recorder for 3PM our time. Got the tape from the machine at my office [only cable in town] about 10PM and just finished watching the best damn race ever. Congrats to Jeff and Rusty too. They're both winners tonight. Jeff got the checkers but Rusty gets a trophy for saying s--t on camera. And, as someone already said, Rusty would have done the same bump and run to Jeff.

WOW! What a great show. I haven't stayed up this late since I blacked out in 1984 at the end of a four day drunk. I think I ended up six laps down in a five lap race. :beerchug:

Ya suppose I got NASCAR as bad as that. Am I a raceaholic? I certainly hope so. :)
 
LOL we had a good chat during the race!

I wouldn't call that the best race evevr but probable the best so far this year.
 
Sorry I missed the chat, eeff. I watched the race alone, it would have been better with someone to share the excitement.

And you're right - the best race this year. :)
 
Minimal lead changes and 15 cars on the lead lap, not my idea of the best this year.

Martinsville was a great race so was Atlanta.
 
Like I said on another thread, Paul, the fast forward button probably made for a better experience, and the long overdue win by JG helped enormously. :)

And, BTW, thanks for a great board. I took a look this am at that other place some of us used to frequent. Nothing has changed except a few names and name callers.
 
Video tape. I missed a couple early this year due to bad input or a bad vcr. This time I used two recorders.
