I don't mean any dis respect to any one by posting this but did any watch the winston cup practice sessions. To me the cars all looked the same and they said NASCAR can use the same body templates for all the cars now. If you ask me that seems like an IROC race where all the cars are the same, I personally liked it better when the four makes of cars on the track had different body styles, I thought that they raced different makes of cars with different body styles to see which manufactuer had the best areo. body style, now it seems that they still have four makes of cars all with the same body with just different nose and tail pieces. Maybe I'm wrong but thats just what I think, maybe once all the cars are painted and on the track they will look different and you will be able to tell them apart better.

they use the same long template, so basically the hood to the spoiler is the same car, different front ends and read ends though, but basically is the same car. some people dont like this, but creates competition for all makes of cars

from what I have read it is basically the template for the taurus. Anyone know for sure?

Thats what I heard too. I think its actually a good thing that they have a common template because then the teams would bicker so much.

I think you bumped your head 66mustang! Of course they will bicker, only this time it will be about the "aero equal" templates. And just about anything else they can think of. I heard some Hendrick spy was running around taking pictures of some of the front and rear ends of the cars cuz he thought certain makes were "getting away" with something during practice. Of course no spec inspection is done during practice so it mattered little anyway. They will find something to be detrimental to their make...just wait and see!
