well into almost an hour and half....pretty good movie........I LIKE........ :beerbang:

anybody else watching it or have watched it? :lurk:

I enjoyed the whole thing. Yes, there were inaccuracies, but that was to be expected. After all, you can't put the man's life into 1 1/2 hours. Barry Pepper really did a good job. There were several times that I couldn't tell his voice from Dale's.

The young man that played Junior was fantastic. He didn't have the looks, but the voice and body language were right on.

The ending and the final credits with all the pictures of Dale just had me in tears.

I enjoyed the movie, but they made him out to be an a**hole. They never showed anything about the dale off the track, never said anything about the money he gave to groups and church and stuff like that.

Lappy, that wasn't the point of this movie, as I understand it. It was a representation of the man, his devotion to racing, and the family relationships.

Dale was intensely private. I didn't feel cheated by the omission of his good deeds.

i really enjoyed the movie.never knew he was married 3 times and had so many children.was surprise that they used real footage of the wreck and of him at the end i almost was in tears.the last part when his dad met him. i taped he movie.thought it was wonderful.i give it *****

The movie was only 1 1/2 hrs. If they had done that they would have had to make a mini series. ( which I would have watched also. )

Thats just what i got out of it....i think they could of added at least something about the good he did, even if it was a 5 sec part.

GREAT MOVIE AND VERY VERY VERY MOVING ENDING........sad to think he is gone......very sad.........
