3 races in 2 days this weekend.

Friday night was a Gambler's race during the TOPMA Pro-Mods at Kennedale/Texas Raceway. The crowd enjoyed the event, hopefully there will be more to come.

After a quick 6 hours of sleep (if you were lucky), it was off to the Texas Motorplex.

Saturday Morning was the finishing end of a race from March 23 that was stopped due to excessive moisture, followed by the afternoon race.

Now you know what we felt like back in the old days when we would do a lot of testing or match racing between the national events, and why I like to work on the independent teams instead of the mega teams. But, if these independent teams don't run a few more races next year then they are this year...I might have no choice but to go back to a mega buck team. But for now, I guess I can look at the brightside...I have a lot more time this year to watch Nascar racing and hangout here.;) :D

Sounds like the 4 days I spent at Indy one year.
IRP for midgets on Wednesday
IRP for trucks on Thursday
Indy for IROC and qualifying on Friday, then IRP Friday night for Busch race
Indy on Saturday for Cup

Hubby and I wore flat worn out on Sunday.

I bet you were, especially if you drove from Texas to Indy.

I've had a few crazy multi-day race trips. In 2007 i left from my Ohio home Thurs night for the WoO race in Baton Rouge, LA on Friday, from there I saw ARCA in Lakeland, FL on Saturday, then Sunday went to another WoO Late Model race in Tuscumbia, AL. Same year I went to a Hooters Pro Cup race in Lake Erie PA, with a late start time on Saturday night. Drove straight through to the Brickyard 400 in time to be there right when they opened the infield parking. Also, either in 2007 or 2008 went to the CASCAR night race in Fraserville Ontario, was planning on heading to CT for a race, part way through I heard it got rained out so changed my course to NJ for an ARCA race that after noon. Probably forgetting a few more trips like that...

If you click the first link, the bottom video has first round and our win in it. I work for the track so I couldn't do my normal video, had to go back and forth to my post.
