Tazewell, TN (March 17th, 2008) The 3rd Annual Thunder Thaw 50 at Tazewell Speedway has been re-scheduled for Saturday March 29th, which was postponed due to inclement weather back on March 9th. Sunday March 30th will also serve as a possible rain date for this event.
Pit gates will open at 3pm and Grandstands at 4. With Qualifying scheduled for around 6. In addition to the $3,000 to win A-Main for Advance Auto Parts Thunder Series Late Models, the Steel-Head Late Models will run for $1,000 to win. Other classes in action will include Street Stock and Modified Street. The Crate Late Models and The Mini Stock Division will be off on March 29th.
Pit admission will be $30. Grandstand admission will be $15. Children under 12 will be admitted free with a paying adult in the grandstands only.
