I always wondered why they didn't do this before at the road courses. 4 can easily be on the track at one time without really even seeing each other.

They're putting the faster cars out five at a time.

Nationwide has done this for years. They always qualify that way in Montreal and when they raced at Mexico City. ARCA qualifies that way on the New Jersey road course as well.
