This is a Joey thread... if you don't like it... don't scroll down :)

I haven't posted a Joey thread for a while and just realized he's looking to make in 4 in a row at Dover in NNS.

I'm pretty sure he's the only one to ever get 3.. hopefully will make some more records this weekend.

and more importantly.....

Jeez, I saw the title, then I saw that it was another Joey thread and then I assumed it was going to be the obvious question, "Is Joey going to lose 4 races in a row?" Then I realized that he's already lost the last 5 races, so I knew it couldn't be that. :D

LOL.. Hey that's not too bad.. before that it was 40 something :D

When I first saw the title, I thought this was a way of SB22 saying this was his 4th Joey Logano thread in a row. :owquitit:Actually, that may be true...

This thread is inspiring and Nascar is inspired to:

Next year there will be a Sprint Junior Cup champion, but it will not be called the Junior Cup Champion cause Nascar already has a Junior.

The A cup champion will be modelled from the drive for diversity program. But this will be a specal outreach only for Ford drivers, cause their special too.

Nascar has also agreed to award an A cup champion for 2013 for the one with the most points. Think about it as one of the three Ford drivers in the Chase Joey has accomplished so much. Driving a Ford is like racing uphll on both straightaways, and all four corners.

Hopefully this will help fan moral and finally give Ford fans a realistic shot at success.

Even though they knew it would be a Joey Logano thread and you said so, they still came on to bitch and complain. They take all the fun out of fishing. :(

PS- can you guess what that is on the top right corner? Hint: it's extremely overaired on Speed.

I had to laugh after the race when Punch made the comparison to Richard petty, Bobby Allison, David Pearson, and Dale Earnhardt, saying even they never won 4 straight races at Dover.

Besides Earnhardt, those guys raced in the Cup series, and didn't play in the lower series.
Did Earnhardt even enter 4 straight races at Dover in the NW, or BGN as it was called back then?

Until Logano gets 4 straight Cup wins at Dover, I think comparing him to the drivers mentioned is a little over the top.

Yeah those guys always take liberties with records. They make no distinctions on Cup or Nationwide. They make it sound like its all merged into one. Nope.

Dont get me wrong, Joey did something today but it wasn't on a great scale of amazingness.

One thing I like about Kyle, even though he's a sensitive guy and thinks he should win all races according to him is that he doesn't boast about being the winniest driver on a lower tier.

I hear what you're saying, and I don't blame Logano for what was said. The announcers are always trying to make things bigger than they really are.

Same with Kyle. Not long ago the announcers were constantly boasting that Kyle has over 100 wins.
Of course, they were including his wins in NW and truck to get there. But to the non-nascar fan hearing that, they probably thought Kyle was the biggest thing to ever hit nascar because Kyle has over 100 wins!!

Yeah good point. I forgot to mention this on my previous post.

To a new fan this comes off as an astounding feat and would probably sway them to cheer for him on false claims.

I think its a ploy they use to get people to tune in each week. Pretty decieving.

Unfortunately, Joey's car failed post-race inspection.
I wonder if Joey will get fined 50 points...

Or get suspended a few NW races.

Like I said on the other thread, NASCAR had said they would step up the penalties from here on out. But of course Mike and his lackeys change their tune every week so who knows.

The cup regulars don't acquire points in Nationwide. If he did indeed cheat, take the win away.

Dale Earnhardt, Kyle Busch, Jack Ingram, Jamie McMurray and someone else.. I forget, r the only ones to win 4 in a row in the lower series (which yes Dale Earnhardt did race in) and now Joey Logano. I know what ur saying but I don't think theyre talking cup series.

Owners points is a big deal to those guys. If they take away those then the 54 would most likely regain the lead. Penske has never won an owners championship yet and right now are something like 20 points ahead of the 54. That would be a big blow to that team. It doesn't affect the driver... but then again, the driver isn't the one who put in the illegal parts or setup.

Good point!

The owners and manu points mean nothing to me.

Julius Ceasar had over a hundred wins , but most of em were in chariots , don't think any were in Busch or Cup. Damn fine driver though.
