Times change.

Mayfield and Riggs haven't even been close after they started off the year nicely.

I sure hope the rain holds off so they can qualify.
If the trucks are rained out I heard they may have a double header on Sunday.

GO #46 Dennis Setzer. Great to see him team up with Carl Long.

Friends, it doesn't look good for qualifying, and maybe not even for the race. Pretty sure Saturday's program will be rained out as well.

BTW, anyone remember Jimmy Hensley? His one and only pole position won was at Martinsville and he didn't even race that car. Okay, who remembers that? :)

I remember that. I was there. Dale Earnhardt couldn't get to the track because of HUGO and Jimmy qualified it for him.

Correct, but Dale did make it to the track just as Jimmy was pulling out onto the track. Dale was the first one to put his head into the ****pit and told Jimmy he did a good job. Jimmy was surprised and asked why he wasn't there 30 minutes earlier.

I always liked Jimmy and he was great at Martinsville.

Hope the weather is okay, i'm heading out tonight for Qualifying, trucks and cup. At least the forecast isn't looking as bad as it is in the Lowes Motor Speedway area, they might have a hard time getting the big Colossal 100 dirt race in over there.

man i wish Mark was gettin his parts from the 48 and 24 instead of the 88's spares....lol. maybe that way if they started on points he would be able to SEE the leaders....lol

Thats the only way Jeff has a chance of winning;)
