#48 Impala COT photos on Jayski

That thing is ugly! I know some will disagree with me, but it really makes me wanna :bleh:

It seems to me that those 3 little rods holding that bottom fairing on might be a little sensitive to bumping... that might change some things at a couple of tracks...

I don't think it is any uglier that what is on the track today! At one time I could look at a NASCAR and tell exactly what it was..a Chevy or Ford.. But today? Hell they all look the same to me anyway...so why not a cot?
Betsy:rolleyes:

I'm probably in the minority here, but i like it, to me it looks a little more like something you might see on the road today. The wing looks like it could be really sensitive to accidents though, not like the spoiler that is more rugged. At least when the deck lid gets banged up in an accident you can work the spoiler back into some form of functionality with a few swings of the hammer. Doubt you could do that with the wing, time will tell, definitely going to be interesting :D .

I don't know what roads you're driving but I have seen nothing that looks like that around these parts, but I have seen plenty of those shoppin cart handles on the trunk lid, you would'nt believe some of the vehicles they put those things on, I saw one on a minivan the other day.

I think NASCAR is trying to get the ricer crowd....

and I don't know how true the picture is, but on my champions poster, if you look closely at Wallace's car, it has a mini splitter on it.

Have you ever tried doing 130 in a minivan WITHOUT a spoiler!?? Crazy! unless of course you compensate for the lack of downforce with a pile of soccer equipment.... how on earth do expect someone to get their kid from soccer to piano lessons safely without one! ;)
