Okay a win is a win but man, they have to stop scaring me to death in the second half. McMullen did a good job QBing. What did you think?

I thought it was a good game. McMullen didn't impress me at all. But then he wasn't real impressive a year and a half ago when Krenzel basically took his job from him. I was sort of rooting for their "QB of the future" Justin Zwick to get into the game, but I really didn't think it would happen. Jim Tressell is loyal to a fault. I really didn't see him benching a senior quarterback and replacing him with a redshirt freshman(Zwick) unless he really stunk up the joint. That being said, I think they played the game they way they had to. They pounded it out on the ground and tried to limit the amount of mistakes McMullen could make. They almost gave it away at the end, but on-side kicks are even more luck-based than Restrictor Plate "races" ;)

BG was the #1 offense in the country and OSU was without their starting QB. I'll take the win and head down the road. ;)

Wow, I wasn't saying he was the star player or anything but I he was totally horrible. There was a time he could have ran for the first down but instead he passed. It could have been worse, he could have been Belasari bad.
My bigger concern, they need to improve on their running game. If they don't get working on that, well I am afraid of what will happen in Ann Arbor. :(

Thanks for scaring me Dee  I hadn't thought about Belasari in a long time. I was actually pretty happy not to think about that era thank you.

And you are right, they ran for over 200 yards yesterday but their O-line was 50lbs per man bigger than BG's D-line was. You should be able to run up and down the field when you are that much bigger up front. Oh well, Michigan is a long way off and they have a lot of chances to get better by then. And again Michigan lost today so they aren't exactly invincible themselves.
