I would say Tony Stewart. Even though i hate him he would not be scared to bumb his way up there. Who is your pick?

Five laps? Hmmmmmmm......Tony would be good but there are some others I would have to take a good hard look at:
Jeffie
Ryan
Jr
Kurt
and, of course, good ole Jimmy (Spencer that is:) 0

Tony Stewart.

Though I don't really recall any race where he bumped his way to the front. Got any examples?

Sonoma last year? Oops, he just won that race.......let Kevin do his dirty work!!:D

I'm with you Paul.......I can't remember any race that Tony bumped his way to the front. Not to say he hasn't done it, I just don't recall any.:)

Rusty Wallace. Just ask Darrell Waltrip from the Winston.

My choice would be Jimmy Spencer he never forgets. With Busch close to him in the front. (oh that would be interesting)

My thoughts exactly Ironman......the car in third out of turn four would stand the best chance though.:D

That's true Wrangler. Just like when Geoff Bodine won that race when Earnhardt and Rudd got tangled up. I think it was Richmond back in the late 80's (if my memory is correct).

anytime any race..Dale ofcourse!!!......current drivers...I'd pick Harvick or Gordon, both of them are aggressive when needed....

Jeff Gordon?

Wow, I've got a new found respect for ya...I didn't think Earnhardt fans were allowed to like Gordon. :)

1989...I remember that like it was yesterday. I think Rusty did it to Gordon at Richmond in '96 too. Labonte did it to Jarrett and went on to win the race that night......

lol paul.....didn't say i liked gordon..;) ....would just pick him in a 5 lapper.....lol..........honestly tho....I don't root for gordon, but i don't dislike him either.....i'm a race fan first...there are only a few drivers I really can't stand....but thats another story....lol

I would like Dale sr....

But i would take either Harvick or Tony

All time??

Probably Tim Richmond

Current drivers,
Kurt Busch

I still don't like gordo, I just respect him a little more now.

Me. :D

ok ok I know:D

But it would depend on the track.

road course....Dan Gurney
Shortie...........Dale Earnhardt
Speedway......Richard Petty

I would like Kyle Petty to win! That way he wouldnt have to cry and run someone up the track when he couldnt get his lap back!

For a Speedway...Elliott in 85
For a Roadie....Tony Stewart Today
For A Shorite...Its a toss up

I was just thinking who I would not want to see in my rear view mirror with 5 to go.

On roadie, Dan is is going to out brake me. On a shortie, Dale is going to spin me. And on a speedway, Richard is going to fly on by about 2/3's down the straight.

Probably Jeff Gordon. He really seems to excel when it comes down to the end of a race and he's in contention. Too bad he hasn't had more shots this year than in years past.

Tim Richmond, if I wanted my car to come home in one piece.

Curtis Turner, if I didn't care about my equipment.
