I had to go down to Memphis for work Wensday afternoon. I got there around 6:15pm got my load droped off and Desided to go see the Tigers play the SMU Mustangs. It was a blow out. Memphis took the lead about 1/2 way in the 1st half and never looked back final was 90-47. I enjoyed myself but i dont think i want to go to many games in a place like that. 14 bucks for a nose bleed seat. It was the 1st college game ive been to that was not Murray State.

Memphis is a very powerful program. They don't shy away from "one-&-done" players like other schools do. If a great player can help them for one year and then go pro, Calipari is glad to have him. Many other schools don't like the idea but Memphis has embraced it. Playing in the Championship game last season, and still being very competitive this season, seems like proof that the plan works. They are a very exciting team to watch. I give them about an equal chance to win the NCAA championship this year, along with about 5-7 other schools.
