No regulars are out of provs. Only Hornaday, Bodine, and Sauter have a chance to get in in on a prov. The others must qualify above 36th quick to make the race and if they do, these three will be the first to go home.


Personally, I think the provisional rules bite the big one, (be fast or go home) but I ain't paying a quarter mill a race to see my logo on tv.

And by the way.....my figuring could be way way off.
 
i say wimmer, raines, kirby and musgrave will go home, dont know bout the other 3 bodine will prolly make the race so be on the look out all the rest
 
I would guess that at least 50% of those teams go home, If not more.
 
I think there will be some upsets this weekend with some fairly big names going home. We shall see.
 
Wait There seems to be another entry. Nascar.com has Morgan Shepherd in an Unsponsored Ford. so 51 entries now. 8 guys going home as of now.
 
Well gee NASCAR had to find people to fill the feild for most of the races now they have tons extra.

I wonder how much last place will get much more than normal probly
 
Way more than Normal. The purse for Indy Is nearly 7.5 million. The regular event gets 3-4.
 
but the people that wont make the race how muchmoney did they waste gettin ready for it?
