Wow!!! This is actually going to be exciting. So far it looks like there will be some heavy coverage of these positions. That brings a lot of drivers into play for the last 3 spots.
 
You have 3 drivers trying to hang on to the top 10. 5 trying to get in. The next two races could be interesting. :cheers:
 
The next two races should be fantastic. California sould be a good race for Kasey. Go Everham.
 
I still don't like the new points system,even if it hasn't started yet.That final Richmond race,fore the Chase for the Championship,should be a heck of a race being a short track,hoping all of the best for Rusty Wallace to win that race. ;)
I still say that a road course should be represented among those final 10 races for the Championship to have at least some valdity like in the past. ;)

I don't think that Ryan Newman will be in it for some reason,not bashing,just a personal observation.
 
I think team orders are going to be a factor in the next two races. I see a lot of blocking, and maybe some intential wrecks. There are going to be some broken hearts coming up very shortly.
 
I didn't realize it but did you know that there's a chance that there won't be a Dodge in the Chase. I read that on Track Smack on Nascar.com. I think it's unlikely that Newman, Kahne or Mayfield won't make it. Surly one of them will make it, who knows though, stranger things have happened. If all 3 run poorly or get collected at Cali and Martin and DJ continue to run strong it could happen.

should be fun to watch, can you imagine the fit Dodge will pitch if they don't get a car in the chase, It hasn't been mentioned but I think the manufacturers will be pressing all of their teams to work together
 
Some reason I just feel like Newman will make it. Could be wrong. But that is just a gut feeling. :cheers:
 
I think nascar got their wish, being more exiting. But I still don't aprove of this chase for the cup.
 
I agree that there is a certain amount of excitement with the new points system but still like the old one better. The reason they changed it was because of Kenseth's championship with only 1 win, at least that is what some say.

Wouldn't it be funny if this years champion had NO wins. Could happen if Harvick or Labonte win the playoff without a win. :p
