$550,000 for this prototype

I loved my 1970 Torino GT but It's hard to wrap my head around the front end on that thing. It looks like a Corvette mated with a Torino GT

This is what mine looked like. Same color but with stock wheels. They came from the factory with the ass end hiked up a little like that.

I actually like the nose on that prototype

My cousin had a red Pinto station wagon with a 2.3L Turbo and a 5-speed manual trans that he put a King Cobra front end on. I'll see if I can get pics of it.

That's funny!! DJ had one, just like that, when we we're younger. I was in my '63 pick up and he tried to pass me on the outside going through Malibu Canyon road, near the tunnel. I moved over on him and mashed him into the side of the mountain at about 50 mph. He spun it out across the road and hammered a guardrail. I was nice enough to turn around and see if he was ok :)
You'll have to ask him about that when we get to Vegas. :D

I had a friend who had a '70 Super Cobra Jet 429 Drag Pack 4 speed Torino. Very fun car. I had a ;69 428 Super Cobra Jet Drag Pack at the time.

My dad had a 71 Mach1 429SCJ drag pack car. Imagine what they'd be worth today...
The SCJ cars with drag packs were very rare. Awesome cars!!!!!!!!!!! I know just what you are saying about what they would be worth. At the time I was growing up, all those old muscle cars were a dime a dozen. You bought one, wore it out or got tired of it and traded it for another. I had a '66 Mustang K code, 271 horse with all options, the 428 SCJ, a '70 GTX 440 6 pack car, a '69 Chevelle 396 4 speed car, and numerous other cars including a pretty nice '56 Chevy with a 350 and a 2 4 barrell setup off a late '50's Vette.... my neighbor got the deal of the century...... A '32 deuce 5 window off the show car circuit in CA. He bought it off a used car lot.!!!!!! Can't recall now exactly what he paid...... but..... I think something like 12 or 1500 dollars....... lotsa' chrome and an all steel car....... excellent shape........

@Clutch
I got my cousin (DJ's brother) to send me pics of his Pinto wagon with the King Cobra front end. These pics aren't that good, I think they're pics of photographs but the front end is obvious. Ford SVO wheels, skirt kit, 2.3L turbo, 5-speed manual...

That's as good a pinto as you'll find!
