6000 posts, only me, Kat2220, TexasRaceLady and some dude I've never met named Paul have only gotten this far.

But the reason I'm really making this post is not only to make note of that. This is probably going to be the oddest of posts I've ever made but bear with me here.

In my short time here on Racing-Forums, I know I've accumulated lots of posts within a short amount of time. I think I put in 1000 posts just five or so days after registering.

Six months later, there have been lots of things that I've done that shouldve either sent me to the corner or had me banned, I am thankful that I'm still here. If you still feel I shouldnt be here or feel I have done wrong to you or I've said something offensive, I can do nothing else but offer my apology and my promise that I will strive to be a better member in the future. During the start of my posting time, there have been lots of people I fell into conflicts with, however many of them today I've grown to respect and develop friendships with.

Racing-Forums has really become a place where I could hang out on the internet. Whoever thought that one day in June 2003, I would be searching for forums to chat on, a couple months later, I'm in the top 10 in posts in one of them. I'm really glad that I stuck with this forum through thick and thin. My thanks to the people who run this site, Samcurry, Fury and the moderators who I've had my share of run-ins with and who've helped me control myself. I promise to you guys, I'll never get on your bad side again.

Now, for 12000 posts..... :D

Ahh heck, kid. You've did well.

While you and I have certainly had our Harvick-Biffle like exchanges in the past, I think I speak for a lot of the old gang on here when I say you've grown to be a full fledged member of the family on here. Sometimes personalties like mine and yours are a little hard to get a grip on for the folks that don't know us. Very few, if any, posters have jumped on here and shook the status quo quite like I did in the day's before I realized these are actually people on here....not just names on a screen.

You're a smart guy, full of insight and have a fresh perspective on things that make old rebel's like me sit up and take notice.

I commend you not only on this 6000th milestone but on the growth and maturity you've come to show regularly on here. All in all I may disagree with you from time to time---like I do with Whiz, Maj or Dee or Bow for instance--but I feel a kinship with you in a lot of ways and have developed a respect for your devotion to this forum board that's important to us and many, many others.

So here's not a tip of the hat or a silly statement like Iv'e been known to give---rather here's a handshake and a pat on the back.

All in all, good job Happy. :salute:
 
Happy, we all agree to disagree sometimes, and sometimes we joke and goof off. I agree with Clark's assessment.

Congratulations Happy, I hope to make it to even 1000 some day. But by then you'll probably have 20000 posts :lol: .

We've known each other for a while and it's a good thing to be posting with ya! Keep posting and you'll be up there old buddy ! As far as I'm concerned, there is nothing that is needed to forgive Happy, however I wouldnt be surprised if you tell us that it's your lack of effort is the reason why there's no air in outer space. Just kidding :p , good job buddy !
 
You have done good Happy. When you first came here you and I didn't get off on the right foot. But everything turned out good. Congrats. :cheers:
 
Gosh, I haven't even realized that you can get off on the wrong foot and whatnot, I don't post in the quantity of a lot of you, but I try to chime in when I have something to say. But man, 6K posts is pretty sweet and so quick, WOW. I hope to be a "member" some day soon.
 
man, do you talk in your sleep? Keep up the good work Happy, you have come a long way and your attiude has definately changed. Glad to have you around.
 
You're a member now, congratulations axl. Next title to reach is Senior Member, you get that at 1000.

Anyway, thanks for the encouraging comments guys, we have all come a long away and matured in some form or another.
