7:00 PM...Whelen Mods on Speed TV NOW!

Great racing, I wished the mods were on T.V. a lot more. I always enjoy watching them bump and run.

I have a idea to fix the Sprint cup, get rid of the COT, and replace them with Mods.

Just for the sake of argument, imagine Carl Edwards going into the fence with a modified. I am not saying I love the COT but is certainly better for the drivers as far as safety is concerned.

Well, you're not going to see a modified hit the fence at the speed Carl did. The mods have long been a dangerous car, but have still gotten safer over the years.

Me?

I like a little rubb'n from time to time. I don't see any chance of that with them open wheel cars.. Gimme stock cars anytime.
Betsy:rolleyes:

That was a great cip on Johnny Benson. I hope to see him in a truck soon.

And VaDirt, you are right. There have been many accomplishments made in safety across the board over the last few years.

The mod race was great. The best part was listening to the absolute passion in the voices of Mike Joy and Dr. Dirt.

If only we had a little of that passion in the Cup booth. *sigh*

You're missing out then. Heck, there was plenty of rubbing going on at Bristol. And ask any Bowman-Gray regular about the modifieds rubin' beatn' and bangin.

I noticed that too, especially from Dillner in the pits. These modifieds hold a really special place in a lot of hearts.

I agree that Berggren belonged in the booth tonight., but so far the highlight of the evening was watching Krista Voda march up the Bristol banking in those tight slacks and heels! :beerbang::eek:

That would have been better had it been a challenge with Michael, Tony and Jeff. No doubt Krista would have won but it would have been funny. :D
