Lets see I was at I-20 trying to set up a date for the Vintage cars, on opening weekend at Laurens. Made week two and saw the sprints on week three. Was down at Dixie Speedway this last weekend for the Vintage Nationals. Our group did real good, we won the Vintage Late Model and Modified Open features. Also had a third place in Modified Sportsman and had the most cars of any group.
Will be at Laurens, in the stands this week. Then we have a Vintage race in Swainsboro, Ga on the 10th and a race at Spartanburg on the 17th.
Remember Randall Fowler, many time Champion at Laurens? He's running with us now and just broke out his new/old car this last weekend. Gimme a few minutes and I'll post a pic of his car.

OK, Here's is Randall Fowlers Vintage racer. It's a 65 Ford Falcon with a Ford power plant, its got an old Berry Wright chassis and he runs in the NVRA Open Modified Class. Looks like he is going to be very competitive with this car. They missed the spring set-up a little this last weekend, but he was flying.
If you have never seen a Ford leave the Chevys in the dust, then you have never seen Randall. I think the man would bleed Ford blue.

that is one sharp car 84! When I first started going to Laurens in 92-93....(I believe,)Randall caught my eye real quick. Probably one reason was the number. I was a BIG Davey Allison fan then ( and still am) so the 28 looked real good to me. That was about ten years ago.....and to this day I have yet to see anyone who could drive that track like Randall did. He could start in the front,in the back,wreck and go to the back, and still pass everyone on the track to win. Nobody has ever done it better at Laurens since I've been going there. I don't know how he did it........but nobody since has been able to. He'd be a lock for Fred's Coca-Cola Bonus money! LOL! He was one of a kind........I even still have an old Randall Fowler t-shirt (orange crush,#28)!!

Well, seems like you've been busy! Are the Vintage cars even gonna be at laurens this year? I dont recall seeing it on the schedule! It would be nice to see them and see the changes to all the cars this year!
Randall Fowler has a sharp car! I wonder about FORDs though! LOL! Im a chevy girl! But the car is nice either way!
