Full rebroadcast of NBC "Today Show" from 9/11/2001 comes on at 8:53am on MSNBC for those who aren't old enough to remember 9/11.

My son was born on October 29, 2001. Obviously he doesn't know anything about that day, but every year on the anniversary, we sit down and watch a couple shows on 9/11 and talk about it. I make sure he knows everything about that day.

It's worth putting on the DVR... mainly because it gives you the real-time, as it happened emotion of how significant that day was and the real-time knowledge that life had changed forever.

Seeing this again feels like the first time all over again. Bewilderment, sorry, anger & revenge.

I was @ work when this happened and only being able to here about it at the time and gathering information on it over the internet I found it extremely hard to believe.

9/11 was a really weird day for me... though not nearly as bad as it was for those directly involved. RIP

I was at a Navy base, troubleshooting a new audio / video meeting room installation. We had just fired up the system again to exercise the remote control system, and when we brought up the TV service it defaulted to a news network - just in time to see the second plane hit the second tower live. At first we thought it was all made up and that our system was goofing up again (not really on the news channel that it was identifying) but eventually realized it was real. Pretty soon the base shut down and us non-military were escorted out. Was not allowed back in to work there for about a week, and security has been much tighter ever since.
