That's up to you. It's an attempt to bring true parity to a racing "series" to determine an "international racing champion". But it falls rather short in my opinion because they only race in NASCAR type cars. Put the drivers in different type cars each of the four races and see who's best is a better way............but, obviously, someone partial to NASCAR thought the format up.:D But, they are fun to watch!! I just don't take that "IROC" title too seriously.:)

I my self dont bother to watch it. I remember a few years back at the Talladega race I beleive one driver got taged and sent in to the inside wall and his car pretty much broke apart in to millions of pieces and plus about the differnt cars at each track, have you noticed that they only race on the Nascar tracks?? I have.

Yea I watched a old tape of the IROC races the other day that my dad had That was the true International Race of Champions

thanx for the help you guys.
i figured i'd watch IROC this and see if its worth being called
"International Race Of Champions".

When IROC first started, it was truly a race of champions.  Champions from all forms of auto racing.  They even raced at Riverside.

How about when they raced those Porches? Mark Donahue was my main man then. I was also deep into Indy cars at that time as well, but that was when they were mostly, almost all American born, and if they weren't, their name was Andretti. Gordon Johncock was another driver I liked. Jeez, I liked so many of those guys. Now I'm getting off on a tangent.
