A few laps @ Daytona with Brian Vickers

No wonder some of these guys never want to get out of a race car - that's awsome.

I think his video give you more of a perspective on what it's really like in that car -vs- the hard mounted camera from the networks covering the sport. It sure make it look like the track isn't all that smooth. Oh, and where were his gloves?

So I'm pretty sure this was recorded on an iphone, and im also pretty sure when he turned it to himself, had had to have had both hands off the wheel....

He's either holding the phone/camera while driving or holding it along with the wheel at times while driving. No way to hold it perfectly still in those situations.

If you've never done a ridealong, I highly recommend it. I've done one at Bristol and at Atlanta. Very cool stuff.

Freakin AWESOME! I am glad to see Brian back and I wish him the best of luck this year.

Neat video but I want to know who and how was the camera held.

If you scroll down to the next to the last video, you'll see my cousin Ely doing the introduction. Ely Thompson, a member of the Red Bull Air Force, died last year while filming a movie about sky diving with a webbed suit. Ely hit the wall of a mountain in Austria.
