( To a lot of the regulars on here this probably seems like the dumbest in a long line of dumb posts I have made. I apologize in advance. I just had to make this one.)
7000 post's on here and ,except for this one, I have never mentioned old Gus.
To tell the truth, I still dont know much about the guy, other than he is an Ohio born BGN driver who seems underfunded and struggles quite a bit.
But I used to know someone who went to school with him up in NW Ohio---and asked me once to make a post about him.
I didn't when I had the chance, ---now days, if I had it to do over, I would have posted about a thousand.
There is a cautionary tale to this post, which in case you hadn't figured it out, really doesn't have much to do with Mr. Wasson at all. Rather it is more to do with a guy that had a chance once to maybe make someone who asked for very little from me, a little happy. It would have been such a small thing.
So maybe thats the moral to this story, gang: If someone you care about asks you to do a little thing for her/him----do it. I have a feeling, at the end of the day it's going to be those little things that make all the difference.
I'm sorry honey---truly I am.
