A guy from Newfoundland visiting Texas walked into a local bar. He engaged a Texan in conversation and the Texan said the Newfie had an unusual accent and asked where he was from so the Newfie said, "Newfoundland."
The Texas looked puzzled and asked, "where's is that?" to which the Newfie replied, "well, you know where New York is?"
The Texan said "yes, yes, I know where New York is," and the Newfie continued, "well, from here you drive nine hours north, turn right and drive three hours, then get on a ferry for six hours and then you're in Newfoundland."
The Texas said, "Geez, that must be near China!"
The Newfie thinks about this and says, "Lard thund'rin' Geeziz, bay! I tink ye might be right! I work wid a Chinese fella and he goes home for lunch every day!"
